Kiehl’s Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Masque
The internal and external benefits of turmeric have been touted for years in Eastern culture. With anti-inflammatory, colour-balancing and brightening properties, the kitchen ingredient is now making its way into mainstream skin care. What I loved about this was the tingling sensation I felt on application, I love skin care that I can feel working and I felt that it did a really good job of brightening my skin in a short amount of time.
Minenssey Australian Clay Deep Cleansing Mask
Ingredients like Australian green clay, pepperberry and parsley seed mean that this mask is anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and contains loads of antixoidants. This combination works to banish blemishes, deeply cleanse, brighten and protect skin all at the same time. I loved the soothing sensation applying the mask and my skin was noticeably cleaner and clearer after removing.
Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Mask
The hero ingredient in this mask is caffeine, which I love in the morning but I love in my skin care, more. It deeply hydrates and smooth skins, but at the same time the caffeine is working to tighten and firm. It feels cool and luxe on the skin and is one of the most grammable masks on the market. Get your selfie cam ready. You can find it at sephora.com.au
Kohle Charcoal & Coconut Facemask
With the buzz around activated charcoal, it’s no wonder this ingredient was turned into a face mask. Known for its purifying and detoxifying abilities - the charcoal has been combined with coconut oil, kaolin and betonite clay, as well as vitamin E, which all work to regulate natural oil product and promote healing. The mask felt uber thick on my face, which is nice as you can feel it working to draw out all the impurities. My complexion felt super fresh and clean afterwards. You can find it at kohle.com.au

Preparing for the festival season, what do you need to do to brighten your skin?
The festive season is coming, your skin has to be very beautiful for the year-end party. Immediately improving your skin by regularly applying a moisturizing mask is the most effective and time-saving method. Why am I so assertive?
Simple, because the mask is the optimal moisturizer for the skin because it provides a huge amount of nutrients. Besides, the ability to keep moisture throughout the night, helps you wake up with smooth, shiny skin. Just make up a little or even without makeup, the skin is still pink and smooth and ready to join the girls to attend year-end parties. For those who love using mask sheets in life, do not hesitate to order immediately.

I would love to try all of these masks. I've heard of the many benefits of Turmeric in a mask, but I'm a little concerned it might stain my skin! I love the Napoleon Perdis Egyptian Ceremony Gold Peel-Off Mask- I love my face smothered in gold, it makes me feel expensive.

I've just ordered some pure powdered pink and white clay. Years ago, I used to make my own masks with green powdered clay, but now pink and white clay is more appropriate for me.

I was lucky enough to be given a pack of the Minenssey Masks at a BH event which contained some of the Australian Clay Deep Cleansing Mask pods.
These pods are amazing the quality ingredients really went to work on my skin and it felt so fresh clean and nourished after removing the mask.

Is charcoal very drying? My skin is a bit dry, and I wonder if this type of mask would be better on oily skin.

Look at that gold mask. It seems pretty good to try. I like to use my finger when applying a clay mask rather than using a brush.

Decided to go boojee eco way. No plastic in packaging and mask natural based (think also hand mixed?) from May Lindstrom. But got my own bowl made of heavy black carved stone and mask brush. Then went even further. Made my own mix that was pure success (based on food grade betonite clay). Do love Blue Cocoon to slather afterwards though. That thing, can not make myself xD
