So what make’s these reviews the cream of the crop? They were not only honest, well written and easy to read, but they were also thorough and provided useful tips for other members. So, without further adieu, here are this week’s winning reviewers…
MD Formulations Facial Cleansing Gel
"I have both the standard both the standard cleanser with glycolic, and this, the facial cleansing gel. While they both contain 12% glycolic acid, the gel is more suitable for oilier skin types.
From the first day of using it I could feel and see the difference. My skin was cleaner, clearer, and less greasy, and with dead skin cells are removed, breakouts seemed to happen less and less frequently. It simply leaves the skin glowing. Sadly over time, my skin started drying out a little too much, especially on my cheeks, so purchased the standard cleanser, which I now use daily – and during periods where my skin is more greasy, I swap to the gel cleanser.
After removing all makeup, I massage a small amount of cleanser into my face, and after a few minutes rinse with water. For a more thorough cleanse, I sometimes leave the cleanser on, while I brush my teeth, for extra glowing skin.
At around $80 per bottle this is an expensive, but seriously, a little goes a VERY long way – and when using twice a day, this 250ml bottle will easily last you 6 months."

Bourjois So Delicate Lipcream (Rouge a levred crème)
"I absolutely love this lip cream! I've always been a fan of matte finishes on lips but find that these days, even most lipsticks come with a bit of shine so this was the perfect alternative.
The product comes in a convenient plastic 6mL tube that is easy to use and the doe foot applicator is clean and neat - it delivers the perfect amount of product and doesn't leave any excess on the mouth of the tube.
The product itself is very light and delicate. It has a pleasant smell to it - not overpowering but kind of has that vintage makeup fragrance to it. It applies as a kind of powdery cream and gives a lovely velvety finish. It's easy to think that the applicator won't have enough product on it because it's so light, but it spreads easily and you don't need to go back for more. I normally need to put lip balm on my lips before lipstick but I don't need to with this - it goes on easily and doesn't make your lips feel dry throughout the day. The pigment is fantastic - I have this in 'prune sophistique', which is a lovely berry shade, which has fantastic lasting power. It doesn't look as heavy and obvious as lipstick either; more of a natural hue.
Best of all, this has a great matte finish. No sparkles, no gloss - it has a very old-school sophistication to it :) Very happy with this product, can't wait to buy a few more shades!"

Avon Far Away Eau de Toilette
"Avon Far away Eau De Toilette comes in a lovely oval spray action bottle with a black pull off lid. A gorgeous black tassle adorns the neck of the bottle. It is quite magical really, I thought the perfume was pink in colour but as I have used the perfume, it has become apparent that the lower half of the bottle is pink giving the impression pf pink perfume, it is actually tea in colour.
The Eau De Toilette spray bottle is so easy to use, if anything I probably overspray but I do like this perfume and it is very subtle and soft.
The perfume is aptly named Far away, the fragrance reminds me of a floral middle eastern affair. It has a unique aroma but it is ever so inviting. The scent is so soft and alluring, it gently tantalizes your senses. This is a lovely perfume and I think people who like something different, this will appeal too. It is a unique, floral, sensual perfume. There is nothing at all overpowering in this perfume. It lightly veils you in a delicious fragrance. The fragrance lingers in the air, like a veil rippling in the breeze.
This is a perfume that lasts the distance of the day. Always in the background, not faraway.
Avon Far away is Made in China and is oh so very nice."

And because we realllllly couldn’t help ourselves, we picked a fourth lucky winner!
"This Benefit Posietint is a very vibrant, almost fluorescent pink shade which might scare some people, but be rest assured, it's the prettiest pink blush you will ever see! The product comes in a cute nail polish like bottle with a brush applicator, which is very easy to use. Using the brush, simply dot or swipe a small amount of product onto your cheeks and quickly blend in using your fingertips.
A few tips: Blend the tint quickly onto the cheeks because if you leave it on too long, it may leave a faint stain on where you dabbed or dotted the product. Leave your makeup brushes aside for this blush as your fingertips works best in blending the product evenly onto the cheeks, to provide a flawless, natural and rosy flush!"
