Overall star rating during this trial*:
beautyheaven says:
The Clarisonic Mia is an at-home professional cleansing brush that uses a gentle sonic micro-massage action to deeply cleanse the skin. It gently clears pores without harsh abrasion or chemicals, and clinical results show it removes six times more make-up than regular manual cleansing. With daily use of the Clarisonic Mia, the skin is able to better absorb topically applied skin care products, and can help minimise the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles, as well as improve skin tone. It also targets and reduces oily areas, dry patches and blemishes. It is recommended by dermatologists, and is suitable for a majority of skin types, including skins associated with sensitivity, rosacea and acne.
A majority of those testing this product were delighted with the results, with many stating it most certainly lived up to the hype that surrounds it. Some were concerned the product would cause them to breakout – and this can happen in the early stages of use as the tool releases toxins and build-up from the skin –however, many found their breakouts lessened and healed faster during the trail. Reviewers with sensitive skin generally used the product once a day only as a precaution, but found it was completely safe to use on their skin.
You say:
“After two weeks of use, my skin has completely transformed. The dull, clogged, acneic skin has (almost) disappeared, and been replaced with more even, clearer and plump skin… I have seen a drastic improvement in my breakouts. They are reduced, less severe and don’t last as long. This is a serious breakthrough for someone who has been dealing with acne for years." – LoveLuc. Read full review...
“I have noticed some great improvements to the appearance and texture of my skin… My skin feels super clean after using this product and I have noticed that my skin care products absorb readily and I don't need to use as much of them as previously… The most significant improvements I have noticed are that my pores now appear smaller and I have less blackheads on my problem nose area." – Ms Billi. “This is one beauty device that is actually worthy of all of the hype – such a simple addition to your cleansing routine that makes such a difference. Therefore, I cannot recommend this any more highly. It is definitely a worthwhile beauty investment." – beautystar. Read full review...
“It helped exfoliate and deeply cleanse my sensitive skin and rejuvenate it! I went from summer in Australia to winter in Hong Kong, and with the plane journey, my sensitive skin started wreaking havoc. It was extremely dry and flaky and I had a mini breakout on my chin. After the first 2 uses, it got rid of all this!!! AMAZING!!!" – xyling. Read full review...
“I have to be honest and admit I have only been using the Clarisonic Mia once per day – at night-time before bed – mainly because I feared it would make my skin breakout. This has not been the case. Instead, my combination skin is not as greasy, my pores seem to have got smaller, and the breakouts I do get are smaller and also heal much faster." - Princess Fiona1. Read full review...

I am sure the Clarisonic is a fantastic brush. However, I am so glad that I have been putting off purchasing it for a while - I got an Olay brush which is almost 10 times cheaper and it works so well that I really don't think I am going to get another brush. I was lazy to use it but now I am picking it back up, using it at least 2 to 3 times a week.

Luckily I did not get it! Tried more gentle version, just to use muslin cloth and quit my scrubs (that were too irritating), and even that was too much if I used it daily! Oh my skin is just too complicated and sensitive.

yes! lol tried facial brush, was so harsh on my face...so my finger slipped on another gadget lolol (you now which!)...have to say, so far The Gadget is the ONLY thing that has worked so far on my damaged skin. I could not even use any more any scrubs, facial washes, exfoliants, muslin cloth! It was my bad, as I overdid things in attempt to get my prob look better (y' know which lol)

Yeah not so sure about this, if I am even a little rough with a soft flannel I get broken capillaries, I don't think I'd get good results with this, but seriously considering one for my daughter who loves drowning herself in makeup

I've been tossing up for months over one of these. I've read either raving reviews or total horror stories so have been a lil hesitant as the outlay is quite expensive.
