Cleansing Milk with Gentian - Combination/Oily Skin Reviews

If you aren't use to using milk cleansers this can be a little difficult to get use to, but this is a great cleanser and it won't leave your skin feeling dry or tight. The consistency of the cleanser is like a really light lotion- halfway between the consistency of milk and the consistency of a cream. You don't need a lot of it, after spreading it over my face and using a tapping/massage technique that the Clarins Consultant instructed me to do I then use a cotton pad soaked in warm water and remove the product, it comes off really easily and once the water from the pad touches the product it turns more into a milky consistency. It takes off the majority of my makeup in the first application, but I usually double cleanse anyway. You are meant to just dry your face and then use toner to get any excess residue off, but I splash my face with luke warm water first. After you pat your skin dry it feels so soft and supple, it's definitely non irritating and your skin feels more hydrated.
The herbal smell of the milk is luxurious and almost therapeutic- I really love the smell.
If you are used to foaming cleansers, like I said it can take a little while to get use to this routine and the texture of the cleanser, but it really is worth giving it a try.
