Super Greens Nourishing Chia Seed Oil+ Reviews

I have a splattering of Sukin products in my skincare kit. Most of them are used as relief from more expensive, active products. And this oil is no exception.

It's a really light oil in both colour and consistency. The smell, however, is super strong, although I'm at a loss for how to describe it, other than to compare it to strong cooking oils.

I'm not sure how people apply it in the morning as I find it never completely absorbs into my skin so I use it only at night before bed, where I'm not concerned about looking greasy. To be sure I've just done a pile of tests on my face and although it doesn't sit on top of your skin, nothing will remove the residual glisten other than washing it off. I could see that it might suit those with dry skin looking for a dewy finish. Since I have generally oily skin, I can't think of anything worse.

I use this when I don't want to use other products: perhaps I'm trying to make expensive products last, or sometimes I want to give my skin a break from actives and want to use something natural and soothing. So this definitely deserves a place in your skincare routine, I just wouldn't say that this is particularly great. It's more of a good all rounder that provides a protective barrier for your skin, allowing it to rest and hydrate.

This product is amazing. I have been using for 2 weeks now and can see a change in my skin. My sun spots are fading and my skin looks clearer and fresher. It is such a beautiful product as well - so lovely to use, it smells amazing and isn't too oily. It absorbs into the skin wonderfully. Normally oils clog pores but this one doesn't, it's hard to put into words just how great this product is!

Bought this from chemist warehouse when they have 50% off sale and I have to say this is such a good value for money product and very effective. A few drop goes a long way.

I was with other brand face oil and sleeping mask (did not use it together) but both doesn't seem to be able to keep my face hydrated for winter weather.

Upon first application I am able to see the difference on my skin.

It feels quite oily when you first apply however the oil absorbed quickly into the skin. I was actually able to apply foundation after the oil. Let sit for a least half an hour to be safe.

Alternatively , I mix a drop of this oil into my liquid foundation and my skin look healthy and dewy or glowing you can say. However I have not tested this in warm weather it currently work for me in winter and beginning of spring.

I've been using this oil on my face for a couple of days now and I think I'm addicted! It has such a beautiful silky texture and absorbs very quickly.
I feel like my skin is healthy and hydrated, helping my to achieve the dewy moistured look I aim for.
I have pretty dry skin so I am looking for something rich to help boost the strength of my moisturiser and this definitely performs.
It's affordable, natural and Eco friendly. I would highly recommend.

The chia scent is strong in this product. This product has helped my skin in the face/neck/decolletage area to be smooth - silky soft. Irrespective of your skin type, this product works, yet sometimes I think that the better alternative would be to use any chia oil; especially as this product smells exactly like those you can buy at natural grocery stores - and the ones at latter establishments would give you better value for money.

Needless to stay, this product is also a great alternative if you wish to take a pause on rosehip oil too.

My only qualm would be that the oil can sometimes leak onto bathroom surfaces, and I have to be super careful as the bathroom in the home I'm currently living in has limestone tiles - hence staining would be an issue.
