Instant Wrinkle Corrector Reviews

Having never tried an Instant Wrinkle Corrector of any sort before, I didn't know what to expect. With offers of Instant, Tightens and wrinkle filling it sounded good to me.

Comes in a tiny little 8 ml tube. Though a very small tube, you only need a drop about the size of a rice grain. After cleansing your skin, you can use your daily moisturiser, but let it absorb before applying this Instant Wrinkle Corrector. Squeeze at least a rice grain size amount, onto finger and rub with thumb until colourless, tap it onto the areas that you want to treat the wrinkles with. Gently tap until absorbed by the skin.

I used the Corrector on the fine lines at outer eye edges. The results happened very quickly, the fine lines started to reduce. I also tried it under my eyes, but I thought I looked swollen there, so gave that a miss.

It's important to use enough, but not too much of the corrector. It has a nice clay look to it, but rubs to a clear colour before applying.

I was fortunate to trial Remescar’s Instant Wrinkle Corrector recently. Having tried all sorts of wrinkle creams over the years I was not expecting a miracle but I do have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by this product.

It is important to rub the cream between the fingers until it becomes colourless before applying. I’m not sure if this is to activate the ingredients but I tried is straight from the tube then also the correct way and the latter approach certainly worked better.

I have mature skin and lots of deep wrinkles as well as fine lines around the eyes. I am very pleased that this product was able to reduce the appearance of the deep wrinkles and also worked very well on the fine lines. This was most noticeable along the top of the lip and I was able to really minimise the appearance of those pesky wrinkles.

I am glad I got to trial this product as it is not something I would normally buy for myself. I am 51 with normal to slightly oily T-zone, my 'wrinkles' that are showing on my face now are only at the side of my mouth - marionette lines and nasolabial folds are deepening. I have very little wrinkling around my eyes as I have taken care of my skin since I was 12 years old at my beautiful mothers insistence. I do have very small under eye bags though so it was interesting to see how this product worked on those.
For the trial I followed the instructions in the packaging and I had to modify usage to suit my skin and wrinkle placement.
The instructions say to use oil free serums and moisturisers as this will interfere with the effectiveness of the product. I used my favourite moisturiser CeraVe Moisturising lotion PM formula as it is a silicone based oil free product and my Neutrogena Instant wrinkle repair eye cream and both of these worked well with this product.
First i tried the product without makeup and had mixed results. I used it as instructed, a grain of rice sized sliver of cream and warmed it between my fingers before applying to my under-eye area, nasolabial folds and marionette lines beside my mouth, using a rice grain size on each area. Then you have to rest your face and not move it for 2-3 minutes. The first thing I noticed was my skin started to feel tight when the cream took effect. When I looked into the mirror after the 2 minutes was up I will admit I was impressed. Under-eye bags gone and nasolabial folds were gone. The wrinkle beside my mouth (or marionette lines) was diminished but not gone, but I will admit that I think even Selley's No More Gaps would have trouble with this as it is the only 'real wrinkle' I have. The treated areas felt dry though which was a bit worrying but if that is all I have to put up with for a smooth face then bring it on!

So far so good. I kept checking my face in the mirror at hourly intervals and I noticed at the 2 hour mark that my under eye expression lines were HUGE!! The dryness of the area had accentuated them so every time I smiled I looked like I had massive wrinkles. Not good. Eye bags were still somewhat smoothed but starting to return. Nasolabial folds were back and marionette lines back with full force. Now I was talking and laughing with a friend about 30 minutes after applying so maybe if you keep your face still and don't smile a lot it would work better.

The second time I tried it I used it on my eyebag areas only under my eyes and kept it off my expression lines. This worked much better and it still looked good 5 hours later. I wore minimal makeup this day, no foundation just mascara, eyeliner, brow pencil and lip gloss. I got comments on how good I looked so that was a bonus. My mascara did smudge a little under my eyes but that just might be the mascara and the humidity of the day I wore it. But overall it worked better this way.

When wearing foundation you MUST use an oil free formula and the product should be applied over the top after foundation has dried or set. I did the same application method and only applied on my eye baggies and avoided expression line areas. I still managed to get a couple of 'good' hours before the 'real me' showed back up.

Overall I don't think I will buy this product once it has run out. It is a small tube but as you don't use much it should last a month or so if you use it every day. Even though the initial results and look are really amazing it doesn't last long enough for me to think it is worth spending over $30 for it.

Thank you beauty heaven for inviting me to be part of this trial team. I was excited to receive the product and test it out. As the years go by, and the fine lines are not so fine, and the wrinkles get deeper, I am beginning to look into products that reduce their appearance more and more. So the arrival of the Remescar instant wrinkle corrector was timely. And even though I looked at the product full of hope and rose tinted glasses, it actually performed well. It did take a bit of practice and patience to use. But good things do come to those who wait. You have to apply just the right amount, either other way (too much or too little) I found it didn’t work that well. About the size of a grain of rice for each area. And just tapping it into the skin. You have to wait for awhile after moisturising etc. too so that the skin is dry. The overall result was great, it filled my lines/wrinkles reducing their appearance all day. However, it was not a permanent solution and you need to apply it daily as the reduction effect only last so long.

I was excited to receive the Remescar Instant Wrinkle Corrector trial as I had not tried this type of product before.

The Remescar Wrinkle Corrector comes in an attractive green and white box with very good instructions and illustrations as to how to use it on the side of the box. There is also an instruction leaflet inside. The tube of cream itself is white and quite small, containing 8 ml.

It is recommended to apply the wrinkle cream after applying your moisturiser. Allow a couple of minutes for your moisturiser to be fully absorbed before applying the wrinkle cream.

The cream is the colour of a light foundation when it comes out of the tube. I rubbed a small amount of the cream between my two index fingers, until it becomes clear and applied it gently to my wrinkled areas around my eyes, between my eyebrows and at the sides of my mouth.

I did feel a slight tightening of my eye area but I didn’t feel there was a great deal of difference in the look of my wrinkles around my eyes and even less around my mouth and between my eyebrows.

Over the last two weeks I have experimented with using different amounts of the cream. I found that if I used slightly too much of the wrinkle corrector a gritty residue would be left on the areas where I had applied the cream. Also I found that the tightening feeling left behind after applying the cream was uncomfortable for me.

I also tried applying the Remescar Wrinkle Corrector over my makeup as recommended in the instructions. I didn’t have as much of the tightening feeling as when I used it over my moisturiser, and hence little effect on my wrinkles.

As I haven’t had the results I would have liked from this cream, I won’t be purchasing it in the future.
