    Thanks to the rise of the good ol’ selfie, we’re more obsessed than ever with how we appear in photos. From the way we pose, to the filters and apps we use to adjust, widen, brighten and hide, we all want to look younger and more beautiful in our social media pics.

    But how old do you really look in photos? Instead of asking your best bud, now there’s a website that will tell you the honest truth.  Created by Microsoft, How-Old.net figures out how old you look in photos you upload. Cool, right?

    What determines the results, you ask? Ah, good question. Well, after putting the age-defying Helen Mirren through her paces, the girls in the bh office had a play around with it by uploading a series of different selfies – ones wearing a lot of make-up, no make-up, hair up, hair down, plus group shots. We got a range of age answers. Some were told they looked younger when they were wearing more make-up and brighter lipstick, whereas others apparently appeared more youthful with less make-up. Interesting!

    I love that site.

    Most of my photos come up between 21-25.

    I’m 38!

    Maybe that will change when I hit 40!

    I went to the site & just did this then, My first photo I got 27 & my second photo I got 35 & my real age is 29. Very interesting & funny as well. Try it ladies you'll have fun.

    These pics are great & the estimation of the age for each person yeah that is completely different to your real age & a good way to show for example to everyone. My case it goes both ways some pics I look younger & others I look older it all depends on the person really.

    Lighting can make a big difference to how I look in photos. I like the blurred effect, hahahaha.

    I don't think that I will be visiting this website. Although I am often told that I look younger for my real age, I still have difficulty when looking in the mirror and seeing how my face is ageing.

    I don't do selfies and I don't really like being fotographed but people never seem to guess my age. I'm lucky that I look a few years younger than I am although personally I think I look "old"
