    Floral, sophisticated and original, Yves Saint Laurent Cinema opens with a fresh accord shimmering with cyclamen, almond and Clementine. Middle notes of amaryllis and sambac jasmine then lead the way to depth and mystery, where amber, white musk and vanilla round up the fragrance. The fragrance is housed in a set-lighting-inspired crystal flacon with a gold stopper.

    A classic - beautiful scent at a reasonable price

    I have been wearing this scent as an everyday perfume for the best part of 20 years. It really has not aged badly unlike other scents I have loved (I am looking at you Poison!)

    You really don't need to "skunk" it as a little goes a long way and it lasts a whole day for me without having to reapply.

    For me this is a classic scent that is a s lovely today as when I first tried it.

    Any Tips?: 
    You don't need much - a little goes a long way so isn't as expensive as it may seem.

    everyday use and special occassions

    Glamorous, sophisticated, a grown up floral

    Cinema by Yves Saint Laurent was the scent of my 30's. It represents who I wanted to be then; career oriented but feminine and sophisticated. Cinema is a complex and unique floral with notes of woods and musk. It is housed in a classic textured glass bottle that is a little vintage, a lot glamorous. This is a mature scent for the young woman. If you want to be noticed, but still be taken seriously, this is the scent for you. It is also subtlely sexy, so great for date night or party.

    Gorgeous classic multi faceted glass bottle
    Distinctive
    Can be worn as day or evening scent

    Cons
    Pricey, but it is Saint Laurent darling!

    Any Tips?: 
    A small spritz is all you need. Wear with confidence, you smell sexy and unique!
    Ideal For...: 
    Work. It makes you feel confident and gets you noticed.
    Night. Add a bit more or layer the fragrance. VA VA room!

    sexy light floral scent

    I really love this scent,and it's different to my other more usual floral perfumes.

    It's kind of sexy (hence the exotic smell) and I use it more for night time wear. My boyfriend bought it for me a while ago, and it is still a hit.

    The packaging is great and the perfume is gorgeous, florals suitable for day and night wear. This one is so nice, one spray and yes your done. It has rich floral smells to it but in no way over powering, it is sensual in the smell also sexy. I love this one, it is a great all round perfume that is full of body and yet so very gentle as a woman's perfume should be.

    Mysterious notes

    For starters I love the faceted bottle of this perfume. I think the perfume is quite elegant and sophisticated too. It has top notes that seem to float and smell a bit fruity like cherries. But this has many layers to it. It has woodier, heavier, muskier bottom notes that give it a certain mystery about it. I think this is a great perfume for nights out or even a good winter fragrance. It has good longevity too. All round lovely.

    Classic Hollywood Noir

    This parfum is Devine!

    It screams old world glamour and is a scent best suited to evening wear, with red lipstick and your best lbd.

    It's strong but not overpowering and very captivating to the males you allow close enough to smell you..

    YSL can do no wrong in my opinion, this gem is no different. Don't be turned off by the plain Jane style of the bottle, it's all about the decadent scent within!

    Any Tips?: 
    Spritz sparingly and not directly onto light fabrics as it is quite yellow.
    Ideal For...: 
    Alluring men to their unknown demise, in the evenings of course.

    Love this perfume

    I have just discovered this perfume and just love it. I tested many and Cinema just kept calling me back and now I have it. Travelling OS next week and this is the only perfume I am taking as it will take me where ever I go, day or night.

    If I could smell one thing for the rest of my life.....

    CINEMA!!!
    This scent is by far the most beautiful smelling perfume I have ever smelt! Its long lasting and the packaging is absolutly stunning! Well worth the price! One spray lasts all day!

    My Signature Perfume!

    I absolutely adore Cinema by Yves Saint Laurent! I wear this most days as I just love it. I will always get compliments when I wear it, and it lasts all day. It makes me feel beautiful and glamorous, and my partner loves it too. It's his favourite perfume on me. He says it was one of the first things he noticed when we met :)

    Luxurious classic scent

    I have had this one for a while now. Everytime I wear it I feel like I just came out the Golden Era of movies. It smells lovely and it lasts all day.
    Invigorating blend of clementine, almond tree blossoms and cyclamen for the romantic top notes. The heart of the fragrance includes ambergris, white musk, vanilla, finishing off this romantic scent is amarylis, jasmine and peony.

    Ideal For...: 
    Day or evening wear.
