FiFi loves Daisy
Imagine the David Jones perfume department, only quite a bit plusher, with a few more French accents and a lot more star wattage. That's what I think the proceedings at Tuesday's Fragrance Foundation FiFi Awards would have been like anyway.
Vera Wang, Zac Posen and Salt-N-Pepa (is that weird?) were all at the Manhattan event, but the biggest, smuggest star on the night must have been Marc Jacobs…
Because Bh members love it. It recently snagged a Cosmetic Executive Women Beauty Insider's Choice Award for Best Prestige Fragrance and now that it's won the Women's Luxe Fragrance of the Year FiFi Award too, it's officially official: Daisy by Marc Jacobs is the scent of 2008. Hands down.
Our noses just knew it. Who hasn't been besotted by this pretty petal-topped bottle (which, by the way, also bagged the FiFi for Best Women's Prestige Packaging)? Who wouldn't follow the sparkling, sunny scent of strawberry, violet and ruby grapefruit interlaced with musky vanilla and gardenia down the street?
Other Fragrance of the Year FiFi winners were:
