100% Natural Lipstick Reviews

I got the Burts Bees 100% Natural Lipstick in Fuchsia Flood (number 512) from a priceline goody bag. This 3.4g cruelty free (but not vegan - it contains beeswax) lipstick is made in USA.

I like the casing. It is square shaped with the honeycomb cut-outs on the sides and the pink band indicating the colour inside. The first few times I used it, the lipstick didn't twist up smoothly. The lid clicks on securely.

Fuchsia Flood is a low sheen brightish but sheer pink. It's not a colour I would have chosen but I am happy to wear it. By lunchtime it does need reapplying, if I remember. It doesn't dry my lips. There is no obvious smell or taste.

After a couple of weeks of use I've noticed that as the top of the lipstick has worn down it has become bumpy. I'm not sure if this is normal for a natural lipstick but it doesn't seem to be affecting its performance.

I probably wouldn't purchase it again but that's more because I already have a plethora of lipsticks. I must learn to stay away from Priceline sales.

Very moisturising with the tint of colour ... comes in a cute liptick plastic packaging ... lips stay hydrated ... there is heaps of colours ... to choose from...i got it from priceline ... smells great and feels comfy non sticky ... u have to applied again if u have eaten or drink sumting...

This review is for the shade "Nile Nude", which is best described as a nude dusty baby pink colour.
It is very comfortable to wear and apply, very creamy in texture. Glides on easily. After application my lips feel soft and moisturised. Not sticky or tacky.
It is quite pigmented in colour; I find one very light swipe is sufficient for me personally. My lips are naturally quite a pale pink so this shade is quite visibly noticeable.
Unfortunately it does not last long; it transfers easily. Wears and rubs off as soon as one eats/drinks. Frequent touch ups are needed throughout the day.
I liked how moisturising and creamy the lipstick was but found it a little annoying how easily it transfered. Does not last long at all.
If you don't mind constant re applications and are looking for a richly pigmented moisturising lipstick than I would recommend giving this one a try. I won't be re purchasing this one myself, I would personally prefer one that is lightly pigmented and has more staying power than this.

I bought the Ruby Ripple, and it looks great with my fair skin tone. It appears to be red but also close to purple. However, this lipstick doesn't stay long and it smudges as soon as you eat something. The texture is also more wet and easily wiped off, and remains wet so long you wear it. I guess because of its "made of natural ingredients" feature, it lacks of the dryness that you can in any other lipstick brands. But there is no harm to re-applying as it is natural and good for dry lips.

love this product for a small price you get great value and definitely good use!! would recommend too anyone who hates spending a whole lot of money on high brand makeup but dosent know what to try for a cheaper option.
love the colour range and for someone who tends to stick to the nude colours love the colours especially the burgundy

I was looking for an affordable (picked this up for a reduced price during a Priceline promotion) everyday lipstick and had heard good reviews for Burt's Bees Natural lipstick range.

I have fair neutral skin and selected Sunset Cruise which is a 'My lips but better' warm toned shade.

This is easy to wear, has a reasonable wear time and reapplies without issue. Sunset Cruise fades and leaves a slight stain on the lips. It is nourishing, just like their balms and has a slight authentic honey scent. These can be quite soft so keep them away from the heat.

The only downfall for me is the packaging. It looks and feels very plastic and cheap.

I received this in the Priceline Summer Skincare gift bag and it's so nice! I've never used a burt's bee lipstick (or lip balm) before but they colour is fantastic and very well pigmented, the formula is so hydrating and it only has a very slight, subtle scent to it.
I got this in the colour 530 Lily Lake which is a gorgeous rich pink colour. The packaging is gorgeous and I really love the design!

I really love the tone in this lipstick, it is a beautiful colour and I felt like it lasted all day without fading it lasts a really long time and it makes the lips feel softer and I feel it adds more moisture to the lip as well this brand has many different shades but I really love the deeper tones this is one of my favourite brands and colours

Perfect for a natural look or for a night, out they also have some really gorgeous natural intense colours available. The pigmentation is spot on and being a natural range with bees wax means your lips are nourished at the same time. Well worth the money...reasonable price as well. Worth a try.
