4. Keep teeth white

There is nothing more embarrassing than discovering you’ve spent the whole day with lippie coating your teeth. Never feel the shame again by using this beauty trick: after applying lipstick, pop your finger in your mouth, purse your lips, then pull it out. 5. Perfect your mascara

Before applying mascara to your lashes, soak the tube in a cup of hot water. This will make the liquid inside more fluid, and prevent clumping as you coat. Just keep in mind not to over do it on the application, or you'll end up resembling a raccoon.

6. Fuller lips, naturally

For the perfect Cupid’s bow, mark an ‘X’ in the centre of your top lip with a lip pencil, using the two points as markers. When you apply lipstick, your lips will look much fuller, plus the lip liner will keep it from bleeding.

7. The old 'eyeliner as mascara' trick

So, you’re getting ready for a night out and the unthinkable happens: you’re out of eyeliner. Calm down, everything is going to be fine. Simply grab your eyeliner brush, rub it over the wand of your mascara and apply as usual. No one will know the difference.

8. Heat your eyelash curler

Before using your eyelash curler, heat it with your hairdryer. This works like a heat styling tool for your lashes, ensuring they stay nice and curled for longer.

9. Look-at-me lashes

You don’t have to wear false eyelashes to get that fuller effect we all know and love. Dust your lashes with baby powder, and then apply a coat of mascara. You’ll instantly notice the difference in volume.

10. Dry nails faster

11. Make lipstick last

Do you wish your lippie would last the distance? Press a one-ply tissue to your lips after applying and dust over with loose, translucent powder. This will set your lipstick, meaning you won’t need to reapply every hour on the hour.
