Colour Riche Moisture Matte Lipstick Reviews

This lipstick is a great find. I recently tried the shade mahogany suds. The colour is the perfect shade of 'my lips but better shade' but makes me lips look Fuller and deeper. What sets this lipstick apart from other matte lip sticks is the non drying formula. It goes on smooth and feels rich and creamy without loosing that matte affect. In terms of staying power, some reapplication is needed when eating and drinking, however this does not change my rating from 5 stars, as usually more long lasting lipsticks need paint thinners to remove

I have this colour in Ouhlala which is a magenta colour with pink and purple hues. I love matte lipsticks but most of the ones I have tried tend to be very drying and make my lips feel very uncomfortable. This lipstick was moisturising and gave me that gorgeous matte look that I desired without having that super dry feeling on my lips. It comes in a gorgeous gold tube that looks elegant and sleek. When you first put it on, it goes on easily and feels really soft on the lips while giving lips moisture and hydration. It doesn't go matte immediately but then after 20 minutes or so it does. It's smudge and transfer proof, so you can eat and drink throughout the night without having to worry about it fading. The pigmentation was great, giving me full colour that would make my lips pop. I would only have to reapply after a couple of hours so the colour payoff was superb!

I am truly impressed by this lipstick. May matte lippies I've used in the past just seem quite dry on my lips and even though the colour stays you feel like reapplying just to get a bit more moisture. I have the Cherry crush which is a beautiful colour. I have found on applying it is so moisture rich that you would have thought it was a normal lipstick not a matte one. the colour is brilliant as the pigments are very strong.

I have found it really has some staying power even after i eat and drink during the day. but i do reapply sometime after lunch though (from wearing it early in the morning).

it's an amazing product that really lets my lips not dry out or lose any colour.

I made a mistake and got shade Sakura Petal, looked totally different online (I am now stopping online purchases of lippies unless I know the shade). It's quite a bright barbie pink - as someone else said - not quite my thing. I will just review the lippie though not the colour.

It is very creamy, I had to double-check it was indeed matte as it feels very nourishing. After about half an hour or so that creaminess wears off and it does settle into a matte. It stains the lips (at least this pink shade did) and really adheres quite well with limited transfer to cups (although I apply and blot x 2). By the end of the day my lips were a little dry but I have yet to get a matte shade that doesn't do this. I only needed to apply again after about 4-5 hours, so that is pretty good.

If you aren't a fan of the matte look but want the long-lasting properties then apply a lip balm first, apply lippie and blot x 2 then apply a gloss over the top. Lasts a long time and is a little creamier.

I wasn't a big fan of the packaging though which why I deducted a star, the little colour button thing is annoying, you can only put the lid on one way or it won't go back on and if you store your lippies vertically then you can't tell what shade it is because the colour button is on the side and you have to pick it up to read the base.

I was in Priceline with a friend looking for a new lipstick to buy, and ended up comparing some different ones. She suggested I get this, and I got it in the shade Sakura Petal. I think I might have made a mistake, because it's a very cool, barbie pink shade that doesn't suit me; as a person, not my skin tone. And my sister kept telling me it made me look like Nicki Minaj -_-#

I do like the product, though. It is quite pigmented, so one or two swipes will be enough. It's opaque, isn't drying, and is matte, as claimed. It doesn't cling to dry skin too, so it's forgiving on dry lips.

While I find the coloured, um, "button", for the lack of better word, a good thing because it helps identify the colour of the lipstick easier, I don't quite like it because it takes a bit longer to close it since you have to make sure it closes on the right side. My other lipsticks close easily even if I have the sides mixed up, but that's only a minor gripe. I like the gold casing as it makes the product look really classy.

It doesn't survive eating and drinking, but it leaves a nice stain behind, even after the top layer is wiped off, and I find that stain left behind suits me better, so sometimes I just wipe it off straight after to get the stain instead, because I don't want to waste a nice product. Was my own fault anyway.

It comes in a nice golden plastic case with the shade indicated in the front. Packaging is good for the price you pay. It is travel -friendly and the cap closes with a secure click. The color of the lipstick is marked distinctively so it becomes easy to pick it up from the stash. The shade name and number is mentioned at the bottom too.
Texture-wise as the name mentions it is a moist matte. These are perfect mattes, moisturizing and matte at the same time. Glides nicely on the lips with a fantastic color pay off in just a single swipe. Color is build-able according to one's personal preference. This lipstick didn't bleed on me. I don't have very dry lips so on me it didn't accentuate any lines or settle in them. Those with dry lips will be better off with exfoliating first and then using a lip balm because it might feel dry later.

This lipstick looks matte but certainly doesn't feel it!
When applied, the lipstick glides on smoothly and feels really comfortable and somewhat hydrating (definitely not drying).

It stays in place (does not slip or move) and lasts hours on the lips so it does not require frequent touch ups.

It is an amazing product that comes in a variety of fun shades. I have Cherry Crush which is a great vibrant pink.

The only negative thing with this product is that because it is matte, I need to exfoliate my lips before wearing it as otherwise it can highlight dry patches (like many matte products).

But other than that, I love it.

I have this in Bloody Mary, and for those looking for a good strong red that doesn't end up being patchy, this is definitely it! The packaging is gold with a small square that is indicative of the colour of the lipstick.

It doesn't have a distinctive scent, which is great, as most of the lipsticks I used when I was younger and more into lipsticks had a strong chemical smell. This goes on smoothly, and adheres to the lips without drying out in certain areas. Even after eating and drinking, I just need a quick slick of this to go back to the original glory of it on my lips.

The colour is rich, and has a matte finish.
