6 Australian celebrity beauty brands we love
The official Australia Day festivities may have died down by now, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop celebrating.
And of course, in true beautyheaven fashion, we’re celebrating by giving two very big thumbs up and an enthusiastic “Good onya!” to our favourite Australian celebrities who have launched their very own beauty brands.
LARA BINGLE, THE BASE
The Aussie stunner may have first caught our attention with her hair (first it was those perfectly dishevelled waves, and more recently her chic bob that’s spawned copycats from here to Hollywood), but she’s now inspiring and enabling women all over the world to achieve a tan the safe way.
Australian made and owned, The Base consists of eight tanning and bronzing products that leave skin looking all healthy and glowy. The best bit? Nothing costs more than $39.
JESS HART, LUMA
As a model, Jess Hart has a ton of experience with make-up. But her brand, LUMA, actually came to be thanks to her sister Ashley. After prompting her big sis to put in some effort with her look outside of the make-up chair, Jess noticed how much of a difference even a small amount of make-up could make – and that’s when she decided to create her own cosmetics brand.
There are 13 products in the LUMA range, all of which are naturally derived, not tested on animals, and free from parabens, mineral oils and sulphates.
JENNIFER HAWKINS, JBRONZE
The leggy blonde has gone from pageant queen to beauty mogul in the space of just a few years, maintaining an enviable, radiant glow the entire time.
That’s why it made perfect sense for her to release her range of at-home and professional tanning products, Jbronze. The at-home range includes everything from tanning creams and sprays to illuminators and face tanners. Oh, and they’re all 100 per cent paraben-free. The tanning actives and tan extenders are naturally derived, too.
Have you tried any of these Australian brands? Which would you most like to try?
