Is sugar spray the new sea salt spray?

Hands up who loves a bit of sea salt spray in their strands? There’s no denying it does a fabulous job at creating tousled, texturised tresses. And while it’s become a staple in our beauty arsenal, there’s always room for dessert...
Enter, sugar spray: sea salt’s sweeter sibling. It contains sugar cane extract, which’ll give you the same surfer-girl texture as sea salt spray - just sans the crunch. With conditioning ingredients such as sunflower seed extract, marine algae and sea kelp combined with conventional styling agents, your waves will be soft to the touch, and will hold for longer.

SO…. SUGAR, OR SALT?
It comes down to your hair type and how you want your waves to feel. If you’re a ‘straight-from-the-sea’ lover who lives for that slightly crunchy texture, stick to sea salt spray (hey, if it ain’t broke…). But if you prefer subtler, softer beach waves, sugar spray might just be a game-changer for you. Ultimately, they both offer perfectly undone texture, just for different kinds of tresses.

HOW DO I GET MY SUGAR FIX?
If you’ve used a sea salt spray before, you’ve got this. Newbies - fret not, it’s really simple. For tousled waves, focus the spray on the mid-lengths and ends of your damp or dry hair and scrunch in sections. If you’re worried about overdoing it, spray it onto your hands - as opposed to your hair - and then scrunch. A word to the wise: too much sugar spray can make your strands feel sticky, so always go for the “less is more” approach when applying.

Having dry hair I have never used a sea salt spray in my hair as I guess it would turn into a hot mess and damage my hair.

I don't like the sound of these product's if I want beachy waves l'll go to the beach to get that or make my own but sugar spray? Come on what is that & why would anyone put that in their hair? Oil's do a much better job then these one's anyways smelling hair of salt or having sugar in hair which sound's unhealthy.

I would try sugar, salt one gives a bit of volume but makes it look feel dry and tacky

I would not use a salt or sugar spray on my hair. It is already very prone to lots of tangles.

ANTS... Ants are all I can think of omgosh, besides I love drinking sugar cane so I'd rather have it in my mouth than in my hair.

Sugar or Salt I would love to try the sugar for a different effect or a softer look.

Also if you want to do it the non-chemical/ natural way, just braid your hair in a loose braid a couple hours after showering and sleep on it. In the morning you should have (provided your hair is straight when you are braiding it) nice loose, tousled beachy waves.

I like using Sea Salt spray once in a while. Have heard of the sugar spray but haven't tried it. Might see if I can pick some up tomorrow.

I am definitely going to try this one. I have Keratin in my hair so I can't use salt spray anyway.
