Rock that body

Lets talk about volume, because you know it’s kind of big right now (pardon the pun), but seriously, people are going to great heights to get the elevation they’ve always reached for. (Gosh – somebody stop me!)
My earliest memory of huge hair is that of the nasally nanny herself – Fran Drescher. Who could forget that noticeable widow’s peak and large lop of hair? While her overall look wasn’t exactly my style, it did inspire me to do away with my so-limp-my-ears-stuck-out locks, and aim for some serious altitude.
Feeling a little like you live with lifeless locks too? Make your port of call a mousse that will allow for movement as well as leverage – I found solace in Schwarzkopf Extra Care Sensitive Mousse, which gave body to my lengths.
Or perhaps it’s the roots that are in serious need of a boost? Look no further than Goldwell Styling Volume Double Boost. I’m happy to report that thanks to its ability to provide thicker, stronger strands (as well as extra stature) – it’s the long-awaited answer to my lifeless lock conundrum - and could be yours too!
What is your biggest hair bugbear?

I love that goldwell root boost spray. it really does work on my fine hair, even though I tend to get oily roots.

My hair is reaaaly thick so I dodn't really need the volume.... but I'm greedy! Occassionally (for special occasions) I use Garnier Fructis Smooth and Shone Mousse http://fructis.garnier.ca/en/product_fs.asp?product_id=6 It smells gorgeous - really fruity. Hair is still very pliable and it doesnt become hard/crunchy or tacky. It's easy to wash out also For volume at the roots I find a little bit of dry hair shampoo does the trick On the topic of volume - has anyone seen the adds for 'bumppits' they look sooooo funny!! https://www.bumpits.com/

Hi beauties,
I'm struggling with limp locks at the moment too (must be a seasonal thing!) and find that a little spritz of dry shampoo to my roots really helps give them an extra lift. Meanwhile, wish i had that model's hair too...sigh...thanks for making us all green with envy Liv ;-)

I lost a lot of hair a few years ago and now it's lifeless, flat and thin and NOTHING I do seems to fix it. I've resigned myself to it, pretty much.

Trying to keep volume is hard as my hair is long and not layered so its own weight makes volume tricky. Also curls, I love to do soft curls but straighteners just don't seem to work or keep hold (had it tried by my hairdresser with a ghd and still didn't work) A curling wand/tool seems to work better (which I don't have) as my hairdresser demonstrated so volume and curl are constant hassles for me. Not to mention obvious flyaways, or limpness!

I second Tigi Bed Head in Small Talk because this little purple bottle has the best styling product giving you natural and volumonous hairstyle, that isn't too sticky. I love the picture of the model she looks stunning.

I love the model's hair and makeup. My biggest hair bugbear is taming my curls and preventing frizz and fly-aways. Cheers, Olivia. : )

Love the models hair but her makeup is too heavy around her eyes and her lips are too pale for the look

I have tried a lot of different mousses and volumising products and nothing seems to help! My hair is just too limp and thin! But the Goldwell Styling Volume Double Boost sounds promising, I might have to give that a go....

I'm always in a battle with my hair curls, frizzy bits, I love using MOP C-System C-Curl Curl Refreshing Spray, works wonders on my hair.

I have too much volume. If I don't keep my hair long it will look like a wavy afro. It was fine during the 90's but now it's just a headache to keep it down :(

Ironically my biggest hair bugbear is volume! It is huge, frizzy and hard to tame :) I am loving CHI silk infusion its like a treatment, serum, styling, taming, protecting product in one!
I am so glad to see Goldwell styling on BH, but the entire range is still not showing up, I have had a great experience with the Flat Marvel Straightening Balm.

Love the model's hair. My bugbear is the little frizzy bits on the top of my head that seem to stick up. I can't find anything to fix it, without making my hair look too oily. Would love to hear if anyone has a product that will help.

My hair is straightish on top and underneath but curly at the ends, and very fine. It drives me nuts!

Great article. I have problems getting volume at the crown, so I use PPS Root Boost, or the one by Catwalk, also KMS have a great one too - yes product junkie alert! Always keen to try another one though and the Goldwell product is getting some good reviews.

I think this article was written for me! My bugbear is just that - my hair is so straight it stays flat on my head and hangs straight down if I don't 'poomph' it up with something. So these two products are the ones I'll be looking out for.
