    Hands up if you love beautifully sleek hair? Us, too! The best bit is, it’s so easy, anybody can achieve it. And with the help of ghd (some of you might have heard of that brand?), you’ll look like you had your hair professionally styled.

    Here’s how to turn your damp, drab hair into sophisticated, sleek strands like that!

    Products used

    ghd aura™ professional hairdryer
    ghd platinum® styler
    ghd Heat Protect Spray
    ghd Smooth and Finish Serum
    ghd Paddle Brush

    Start with damp, towel-dried hair. Apply ghd Heat Protect Spray to the ends and mid-lengths, then brush through using a ghd Paddle Brush.

    Next, use a ghd aura™ professional hairdryer to dry your hair completely, directing the airflow towards your paddle brush for maximum shine. Then, section your hair to prep it for styling.

    For super sleek, glossy strands, run a paddle brush through your hair, following closely with the ghd platinum® styler. Featuring tri-zone technology, the platinum hair styler can be used to straighten or curl without compromising your hair’s health and has a heat-resistant plate guard to protect surface areas as you style.

    Prefer air drying hair before using straightener. Just not to double up on heat all at once

    I love the look of sleek hair, but it's not going to happen for me. My hair is so dry. Also, as my hair is now longer, it's also become more fuzzy.

    I wish I had a GHD hairdryer! This is a great article, though! I used to use the paddle brush on top of the GHD, I will try it below :)

    I much prefer a ceramic round brush than a paddle brush when drying my hair.

    Depends on the hair...mine is fine strands, and waist long, so I can only use paddle brushes. No round brush ever...it rips my hair so badly

    Looks great on the model. I would never do it. My hair is too fine and thin. I would look ridiculous. I have curly hair and do blow out the curls, but get nice body with it.
