Get beachy waves, sans the sand

Give your tresses an effortlessly cool, boho edge by adding some salty texture. Beach waves are ridiculously easy, and look good any day of the year. And the best part? They can be mastered in minutes! Follow bh’s Debbie and create natural-looking, cool girl waves:
Products used:
Schwarzkopf ULTÎME Sea Salt Beach Look Texture Powder
Schwarzkopf ULTÎME Sea Salt Beach Look Texture Spray
Schwarzkopf ULTÎME Amino-Q Hold Mousse
Evenly spritz damp hair with Schwarzkopf ULTÎME Sea Salt Beach Look Texture Spray, scrunching it into the mid-lengths and ends of your hair as you go.
Blow-dry your hair on a medium power setting, continuing to scrunch it with your hands until it’s completely dry.
Apply a small amount of Schwarzkopf ULTÎME Sea Salt Beach Look Texture Powder to your fingertips. Tousle it through your roots for extra volume.
Take a small section of hair from just above your ear and pull it back to the crown of your head, twisting it as you go. Secure in place with a bobby pin.
Repeat on the other side, pinning the second section in place so it just overlaps the first twist.
bh tip: The great thing about this beachy, boho style is that it’s meant to look slightly messy, so don’t stress if it’s not perfect. You can also substitute the twists for small plaits for a more flower child-esque finish.

I wasn't sure if I had reviewed the sea salt spray previously so I was searching for it and came to this article as I could not find the product but it seems that the product is no longer listed on BH as the link is dead.

Silly question: does salt spray products dry your hair out? I've never used them before and I'm a bit hesitant (but I love the look).

I love the beach waves look, but I'm concerned about putting sea salt spray into my hair - surely it can't be good?

Very nice work. I wonder if this product would also work for curly hair - increasing the curls and keeping frizz down. My hair always looks oddly good after a swim in the ocean so maybe...
