Rghh yes the ohh no its spring (yes I love spring and summer) the sun is out and ohh noo my eyes ,can't stand the brightness! Woah its giving me wrinkle like skin (when I use foundation)
What should I do?
Also what are good sunnies around $50-$100
As long as you like the sunnies and they have a great Uv rating thats all that matters perthbabe91. Maybe choosing a darker tinted glass might be beneficial for you, this is what I do, my friends who have tried my glasses on have said how the bloody hell do you see out of these, lol, but I find them perfect. Good luck :0)
Sounds like you've got really sensitive eyes like my daughter. Every morning as I drive her to school she squints heaps and puts her head down to try to block the light out of her eyes if she's in the sunlight. I remember being like that when I was young too.
Now I'm older I wear my sunnies wherever I go but my daughter hides under her broad-brimmed school hat! So maybe you could wear both - a hat and sunnies as some of us are a bit more sensitive to light, especially in the mornings. Don't worry, you aren't alone. Lighter coloured eyes are generally more sensitive to the light.
The Australian Cancer Council put out extremely high quality sunnies (go for the Level '3' as it is the best protection) and are great value. Available all over, including a lot of chemists, Big W, etc. Just check the label for the brand name and the Level. I never buy anything less than a '3' as I have light green eyes. These sunnies are often $40 for a great pair but can vary in price depending on the 'style'. I often pick up a pair for 1/2 price as the newer models come in and they are trying to sell off the 'older' models.
Yeah sometimes i get headaches when the sun is really bright :/
Get polarised Sunglasses. Not just tinted lenses.Tinted lenses absorb uv light, and soften the effect of sunlight to your eyes. However a lot of the problems you are describling are not just caused by direct sunlight (which a tint absorbs) but also by reflected light.Reflected back from flat surfaces especially like the road, the path, the water, sand ETC.Polarised lenses not only absorb direct sunlight, they also do not allow reflected light to pass through the lens from horizontal surfaces.
And yes, lighter eyes are more at risk. Becasue they have no pigment in them.Dark eyes have pigmen twhich can absorb sunlight, just like a tinted lens. Some quality brands for under $100 would be Cancer council (as others have suggested), Bill Bass, Fish.It is sad but most really fashionable sunnies are NOT polarised, they are sold to be fashion accessories that look good, not as a product that is fit for its real purpose. You usually have to go for more sporty styles to get a polarised lens. This is just in general. Hope it helps! Seeya!
Definitely get good sunglasses.
As I just said in another thread, I got my eyes tested last week, and the guy that was fitting my glasses and measuring them for my multifocals thought I'd had the drops put in my eyes to expand my pupils, because apparently they're massive.... his first question was "are you really sensitive to sunlight" which I am, because my pupils are always so big and letting so much light in I find it hard to be in really bright areas. Just a thought :)
and as others have said, I'd go check out the cancer council :)
This gradual smells amazing and leaves my skin feeling silly smooth and hydrated. It absorbs into the skin really well and gives me a really natural looking tan.
I received this as part of the Oct discovery bag (thanks BH!) and was keen to try out this Australian cruelty-free brand.
I received this product as part of a trial team. This is my first trial so its ironic that it would be food.
