before i make my purchase for the experienced people out there what is your best brand you think there is? I've heard of Acuvue and Freshlook Colorblends, please review some :)
I haven't worn them but i worked in optical for several years. personally i liked the freshlook lenses. you can get colourblends or colours, you should be able to select any of the different ones in the range once you're fitted. patients loved them and raved about them more than any other coloured lens. the only people we had that went for the other brands in colours was because the fittings weren't right for them. good luck. lol :)
I use Acuvue as prescribed by my optometrist.
I use daily ones and they're pretty comfortable. I haven't had problems with my eyes feeling dry, even after wearing them for a whole day. I'm not sure about them as coloured contacts though. You should consult your optometrist for a professional opinion.
how much are the coloured contacts in the different brands? what's the cheapest? I have brown eyes and wanted to get some green ones.
acuvue=$57 good for opaque colors
Definitely Freshlook. They're the best. More colour choice, comfy, more natural looking than others.
I use freshlook hazel, it's a great color and always gets me compliments and adoring looks from strangers! They actually cost less than my clear lenses (which are 24/7 ones). i believe it's about $96 for 6 months plus a free trial pair.
I recently shopped around for contacts too bronze baby and found colorblends to be the best range suitable to my eye colour.
They look ever so natural and I adore my grey ones although my favs are the green. They cost me $50.
Best ones are from your optometrist, at least you will know they are saFE
My optometrist recommends acuvue but it is expensive compared to freshlook which i have not tried but am about to. I've been looking them up online and u can get this freshlook one day which gives u a tint out of 4 colours that are available to your actual eye colour. At www.clearlycontacts.com.au they have them for $19.00 for a box of 10! I will get back to you once ive tried it. Cheers
I am hanging out for coloured contacts, i have green eyes and want a blue pair, how long do they last tho? and can you buy a pair that last years? Im going to get my first pair from an optometrist then start shopping at clearly contacts one i have the right script.
Miss L,what happened?i am dying to find out because it sounds cheap.i really want to try some coloured contact maybe when i go out or for parties.i have brown eyes and i want to try gray.no idea bout the other colours yet.how they will look on me.
Sorry for the late reply... well, they are daily and i tried wearing it for at least 4 days, they still work. But i found that my nails get at them and they get slit on the side. You would only want to buy this if you wear it once in awhile. I bought the green ones and they are fantastic. I get asked if they are my real eye colour all the time. As a brand i think they are fantastic, but i wanted to get some monthly ones now. Quite pricey but i might consider to wear contacts now. >.<
I've used Freshlook ColourBlends for about 4 years now. i like the natural look, having light brown eyes but when I wear green contacts, people ask me whether its my natural colour. I found this website selling them quite cheap $42 a box for 6 lens http://www.smartbuycontacts.com.au/contact-lenses/Daily-Contacts/Freshlook-Colorblends/37.html
I bought some about 2 years ago (can't remember the brand -sorry) I have green eyes & I had aqua lenses...my eyes looked amazing. people would always ask if they were my real colour, sometimes I would say yes...lol.
They were fun, might get another pair soon.
freshlooks are more natural, comfortable and long lasting. you have to be careful of the diameter of the lens. some are too big to fit on some eyes, while others don't fit properly.
My optometrists usually prescribes Acuvue for all my family's contacts. It's a very good brand but you have to make sure the size fits your eyes properly.
I have always had issues with dry hair with oily roots, so I was excited to give this hair mask a go.
Very expensive moisturiser. It comes in a jar and you do get a nice large amount of 48mls. The cream is very thick and you only need a small amount.
