What are your FAVOURITE BAR products?
I mean things like body wash, body moisturiser, face moisturiser, face wash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant etc!
I want to get a good conversation going on plastic free, zero waste alternatives we can recommend and stand by!
I included a picture of the brand VIVA LA BODY mostly because
1) it's Australian (woo!)
2) it shows the vast range of products you can get from them AND that exist in plastic free options!
My recommendations as a combination, acne prone skin type with thick, fine hair that gets oily fairlyy quickly are:
NueBar Facewash Bar - Fragrance Free (45g) [https://www.floraandfauna.com.au/nuebar-facewash-bar-fragrance-free]

Dettol Hygienic Antibacterial Sapoderm Soap for Acne and Oily Skin [https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/7519/dettol-hygienic-antibacterial-sapoderm-soap-for-acne-and-oily-skin] - great for bacne, makeup brushes and potentially your face if it can handle it!
Lush Therapy Massage Bar [https://au.lush.com/products/massage-bars/therapy]
I haven't yet tried deoderant or perfume but they are on my list once I use up what I have/need them (I don't actually wear deoderant often which apparently is weird). So if you have any recs, let me have em!
I like lush, specifically soak and float shampoo
I've just started to make the switch to all bar products myself. I found the Ethique sample packs a great way to start & get a feel for what works for me. I am working my way through the hair, face and body samples. So far I have no complaints :)
I'm using VayCay shampoo & conditioner bars at the moment and they are also great. https://www.vaycaybeauty.com
I have a Tokyo Milk one here. Gifted from a friend it is hand soap though but it saves having the plastic pump bottle of hand soap.
Flora and Fauna have released a box of plastic-free beauty and home products - about $70 worth of goodies for only $29.95:
I've always been happy with their customer service.
Love Flaura and Fauna! I'd totally be into buying that latest box if it weren't for the fact in general I don't want to recieve anything I don't need/want :)
Nivea Wonderbar is a new one I'd like to try, I use a bar cleanser in the summer but in the winter my skin is just too dry and I need a lotion in a pump bottle.
I do love this perfume - it's something that I bought myself years ago just to treat myself. It has a sweet (but not too sweet) scent that is mixed with a bit of fruity berries in my view.
Firstly , let talk packaging. I love that it comes in spray trigger form which really makes it easy to apply especially when you are out and about i.e at the beach.
Wow wow wow this product is amazing I love how small and compact it is and how smooth it is.
I'd love to know - what's your best tip for sensitive skin?
