Hi i am hoping someone can tell me about good (or bad) organic skincare products they have used. i know the organic is supposed to be better so i would like to try one
That's brilliant ray _jay
I have seen hemp oil benefits, am concerned on the short life span.
I love Shea butter, it's a good idea to buy it in bulk.
What do you do with the Dead Sea clay /vitamin e?
True hemp oil but I like it and it helps my skin.
I use dead sea clay on my body, and sometimes on my face.
Vitamin e goes on my neck and chest.. Ha ha. Goodbye fine lines. Most of these purchases are for body as I'm more into chemicals for face hahah if that makes sense.
How long can you keep Hemp oil Ray_Jay I thought I saw 3 months somewhere. You must have the nicest skin with all these good products you are using on both your face & body. :)
Another thing I love to do is mix my Shea butter with salts at home for a body scrub.
I love s good scrub. Hate the expensive of those body scrubs. And moisturizers rip off.
And its how I save money.
Yes I like to think I look ok skin wise. Ppl always think I'm 6 yrs younger ha ha.
Hemp oil I keep for 6-12 mths. Maybe I'm naghty but I don't have a problem with that.
I recommend it for anyone with oil acne skin. Its cheap too.
It believe that you look much younger Ray _Jay
Thanks for the Shea butter tips. I like that is is non comedegenic too. Will try that once my moisturiser drops lower. You're right about the moisturising effect, I find body lotion not moisturising enough. Will try a lil DIY.
Do it do it lol.
Its fanstatic. Buy some hyalouric acid melt and mix together.
I refuse to buy all those expensive body lotions that have one ingredient or tiny bits.
They also have mango body butter on n-essebtials. Haven't tried it though.
Where do you buy your hyaluronic acid, ray_jay? Hyaluronic acid is water soluble & a emulsifier is required to mix it up oil + water.
I got full supply of body moisturisers but I want to customise mine & add some actives.
Mango butter has a zero comedogenic rating like shea butter& can be used on the face too. Haven't tried that either.
Have you bought from New Directions?
I've marked jonesal2016 as SPAM.
Thanks for sharing such a wonderful post regarding the skin care. I have also tried many of the skin care products that are helpful for me. That are good. I would suggest everyone to use natural skin care products.
I'm always interested in what people are using in regards to natural products. That is a great idea to mix shea butter with salts. I'm imagining epsom salts are the salts to use to make a body scrub ?
Use of natural products is always good for the skin. One of my natural skin care store “Annimateo” is always a favourite for mebecause of the good results of their products.
Hope I'm not too late to the party. Decided to make a lifestyle change and have been using organic skin care now for almost a year. Changes also includes the food I eat and my daily habits. With my diet, I steer away from processed foods (with nasty preservatives & refined sugars, high salt content) and focus more on whole foods that are freshly cooked, vegies, fruits and beans. Doesn't necessarily have to be organic meat, but it has to be fresh. My goodness, have I seen a change in my energy level and the one thing you will notice is glowing skin and natural weight lose. I would say I lost 5kg in the first month and 12.5kg for the whole year to be exact. Off course you're wondering if I'm exercising, and the answer is an absolute "yes". I try to fit in 1/2 an hour to an hour 3 times a week. It's tough though when you have to juggle around your time with the kids but it's well worth the discipline and effort. Best motivation is the comments I get from people saying how great I look.
I'm going a bit off topic, so better focus on the question which was - what organic products I recommend. Well I was fortunate to come across an organic beauty store called Green Organics which caters to all of my beauty needs. They have an online store http://www.greenorganics.com.au but if you're a newby into organic world, then it's worth paying them a visit at one of their physical stores to get their advice, especially for the organic makeup. They have many brands ranging from makeup, skin care, aromatherapy and personal care. Ask for Amy.
Finding the right products for my skin has been a process of trial and error and just because it's organic it doesn't mean every organic product is good. I had to find out the hard way. I tried this really potent product and developed a rash that lasted for more than week. Essential oils can sometimes do more harm than good.
Good luck everybody with the healthy organic journey!!!
I'm searching for a website on line that sells organic and natural products and deliver too
Empassion Natural are really good and not expensive . Raww are good too and cost a little more. Both are online with their own websites and both are starting to appear in retail shops.
asmaalam's post looks like spam to me, which I've reported. The store that he/she is promoting is based in Morocco.
More spam =(
tinakapoor0288's post is spam which I've reported. BH members: please do not click on the suspicious blue link.
I’ve reported it as well, hopefully more reports will get it removed quicker. She’s been serial spamming today.
I have reported the previous post by beautylovermania as spam. BH members: please do not click on the suspicious blue link.
I was extremely impressed with this product.
Received the John Frieda Frizz-Ease® Dream Curls Curl Defining Crème at the Best in Beauty Marketplace.
I recently had the opportunity to trial the new Nivea sun sensitive 50+ sunscreen. The product comes in a good size harder tube with the lid at the top.
