For all eczema suffering BH beauties out there, what is your favourite eczema friendly skincare to layer under your eczema friendly makeup? We may be itchy but we still want to look and feel our best!
I don't suffer from eczema, but I have started using the Tribe Skincare range to try and help with acne and redness on my skin and it's been excellent. Lots of people who suffer from eczema have said that it is fantastic and it is highly recommended in many of the reviews I have read.
I'd love to give ita whirl. Have you ever tried Azelaic acid products for your acne and redness? It can be quite drying and irritating initially however your skin tends to get used to it after about four- six weeks.
This winter, I've battled a terrible flare up with my eczema and its particularly bad on my eyelid this year. recently, I've found that instead of using a moisturiser, using 'the ordinary 100% Plant-based squaline' has worked for me. I don't know if it actually helps, but I ran out and whaddaya know ... Eczema is back.
Squalene is amazing- our body naturally produces this lipid.
Squalane is a hydrocarbon of squalene that is a rich emollient and is now sourced from sugarcane rather than the livers of sharks (poor sharks ).
I love The Ordinary! How fantastic is it that there is a great skincare line based on science that doesn’t cost an ungodly amount?
Hyaluronic acid is an amazing humectant. Aldi sell a glorious hyaluronic acid gel for $10 that you wear under or mix in to your moisturiser. I swear by it!
QV have recently launched a moisturising lotion with ceramides which is fabulous news for eczema sufferers as ceramides are something we are severely lacking in.
I order the US brand Cerave through iHerb. I wear the lotion as a facial moisturiser with no complications.
I really hope they launch in Australia soon.
Moo Goo is meant to be good for skin conditions, I haven't personally tried it but know people who have and have said they have found it helpful for them.
I love Moo Goo!
This shower gel has a smooth texture to it. It was like baby powder, fairy floss, type of scent very soft and gorgeous. The lather is out of this world you only need the tiniest amount.
I love this Mascara. It adds the most beautiful volume to my lashes. It does not flake or smudge or clump on me.
I usually have very oily skin but lately I've had dermatitis on localised areas of my face - mostly my forehead, sides of the nose, ear lobes and below the brow bone.
