Anyone tried eye masks? Your thoughts on effectiveness
When in Asia recently these things are everywhere, all top brands there have a version. Has anyone tried these type of masks and what did you think of them? There are collagen versions, snail versions, gold infused versions etc. will include a picture, just a random one I found on Google to show you what I mean.

Baby Soft Skin
This product exceeded my expectations massively. The texture of the product is really nice light and no smell whatsoever.
Not worth it
I got this in a Christmas kit in the shade Lean in. I’m not sure if the problem is the shade or the gloss itself but I don’t think it’s a product to use on its own.
Super glittery and not very lasting
I got this product in the shade 872 Glit/Doré. I find that the colour looks nice on first application but as soon as you blend it it fades and you’re just left with a bunch of glitter in your eye.

I use eye masks every week or when I need a pick me up. They work they make skin look brighter! I love the shiesido wrinkle reducing eye masks the best. There expensive though. Lonvitte ones are great too
Well I use eye masks sometimes when I need. It reduce the dark circles and wrinkles and look my skin brighter. I use Thalgo La beaute marine but I will definitely try Collagen Mask once.
I haven't used these ones, but I've used other brands and think they are great! Recieved some in a bellabox a while ago!
I need to try some of these, I always have puffy under eye bags.
Dark circles is a problem for me. I think lip masks are interesting too. We received one in a bella box but I haven't used it yet.
I had very bad dark circles due to stress & worry when I was diagnosed with cancer (now 2nd year all clear). I had started to use Monsia and I am convinced that the hyaluronic acid in this product line helped me get rid of them as well as fade my age spot on my left cheek by half. Now if I have stayed awake reading a book and only catch a few hours sleep I just sit with cucumber slices!
Lonvitale eye masks are lovely & soothing & I find my eyes always looks better when I use them.
I also have a Clarins eye mask that's a cream formula & wonderfully soothing too.
I ordered mine, still waiting for them to arrive - in need of them after the xmas period :)
Which ones did you get duality? I find some work some don't.. Some are really good expecially for dark circles and puffy eyes others aren't..
I ended up settling on Etude House's Collagen and TonyMoly Panda's dream eye patches - I already have the TonyMoly panda dream eye balm and loved it so I am hoping the patches are just as good. I am steering clear of Western skincare as the Korean stuff is doing wonders for me and they are almost always natural ingredients.
Is the TonyMoly panda dream eye balm the same as TonyMoly Panda's Dream - so cool eye stick? There is no balm on the Amazon, uk site. I have some friends over here who suffer badly from dark circles and I would love to give them something that works as a Chinese New Year pressie. TIA.
Yes it is, I guess translation is different as I buy from a Korean site they call it eye balm but yes western market it says cooling eye stick, which is kinda weird it's not cooling, it's soothing and brightening, like I said maybe a lost in translation thing?
I've used the TonyMoly Panda Dream eye patches twice now - did nothing for me. They're fun to put on though.
I forgot to add that the TonyMoly Panda's Dream eye patches did have a cooling effect. Closest thing I've come across is probably one of those caffeine eye rollers.
Yeah, I have tried it 3 months ago, but it didn't work for me. But nowadays, the eye masks I was using, I got those from a local store in Denver, It’s 100% safe and natural also best suited for all skin types. If you really want best anti aging eye cream I'll recommend you to use Blossom Kochhar's almond under eye cream. I believe It’ll well suit your needs and requirement.
I don't really know if they work to be honest.. I've used a few and can't decide.... Atm I'm using Asian ones..got 15 packs×2 for 5 bucks so can't complain..I'll attach a pic
I have and i think their great
The collagen ones are fab! I put them on just once so far (keep forgetting) and they plumped up the eye area so well, very smooth and hydrated and it lasted a good 12 hours. Didn't even need my eye cream after them either the skin was so nice - going to refrigerate them for a few hours before applying in this upcoming hot weather as it suggests on the pack.
That's good they work for you. I actually think the best ones I've used are the shiesdo retinol eye patches mask.. There pricey but you get a box of 24 and if you can afford there brilliant. They delivey retinol into the skin too. The skii ones are great. I'll see how these cheaper Asian ones go for now.
Also a tip pop them in the fridge for a cool eye treat, they work so well this way
Duality. Hope your still around, haven't seen you in a while.
I'm really keen to hear how you went with the tony moly panda patches? I'm thinking about getting some as there super cheap.
i running low on my eye mask too. Will be keen to hear recommendations..
ray_jay i store my masks in the fridge too..,
i have tried SKII, didn't think it was that amazing. Have also tried Estee Lauder and a few others. For a good run of your buck.. i suggest to try the asian ones. I've tried Hisamitsu & Kose which i like
I buy mine from Sasa, you find a good mix of Western, Japanese, Korean & Taiwanese mask available. http://web1.sasa.com/SasaWeb/eng/category/listByCategory.jspa?functionId=0&brandId=0&categoryId=418010904
i bought these ones previously and still have a couple in my fridge. Sasa no longer carries this brand photo taken from http://www.dramasian.com/threads/no-nano-eye-mask-review.79695/ review also available.
Duality, I see your forum pic has disappeared, I hope you haven't left us. I'd be sad.
I brought these in my Korean haul. 32 patches= $8. Retinol eye patches with glycerin and hyalournic acid. Waiting to arrive
is that 32 patches = 16 pairs @ USD8? ray_jay would love to have your thought on this. Kose is a good jap brand... it should be quite good.
i have 4 pairs of eye mask left... so i went on a spending spree on Sasa. Eye mask from Korea, Japan and Taiwan
Bought myself 270 Eye Masks (135 pairs) for USD42.70 or under AUD60. That's 44cents a pair. WOW Going to do it almost everyday!
