Hi I was wondering if anyone had tips on gaining weight as I am underweight. Thanks xxx
Does your DOCTOR think you need to gain weight? Some people are slight, yet perfectly healthy. If you're unhealthily underweight, this is something you should talk to your doctor about. Perhaps you could get a referral to a dietitian.
I already spend too much on my psychologist so I can't really afford to go to a dietician
A few years ago, I lost about 5 kg due to stress - which wasn't good at all, as I couldn't really afford to lose any weight. I pretty much just increased my food intake - I ate a massive bowl of pasta every day for lunch and made sure I didn't skip any meals, I also started going to the gym. I put most of the weight back on after a few months. I have a fast metabolism so I really had to make an effort to gain back the weight.
Another option is to try to increase your muscle mass through weight exercises (muscle weighs more than fat), which would increase your overall weight.
Just avoid trying to gain weight by eating lots of junk food, that's obviously not a healthy way to do it.
A doctor would be able to help advise you, depending what your main concerns are regarding your weight.
Hi . I am trying to reduce weight. lol. Include almonds, butter and red meat in your diet. It may help you.
I am also trying to reduce weight, my dietician told me to stay away from carbs like white bread and rice. Maybe you should add those to your diet? I have also heard about creatine which helps people to gain muscle. Either way though, probably best to talk to a dietician. Good luck :-)
Thanks for the tips. The problem I have is that I'm never really hungry so I have to force myself to eat
I have the same problem. I'm trying to gain some weight that I have lost due to depression/anxiety the past few years and the best thing to do is schedule meal/snack times during the day and stick to it. It will get you in the habit of eating regularly again.
Sometimes when you think you aren't hungry but start eating your appetite will kick in. Also try and include nutrient dense foods like peanut butter or nuts.

Just relax, eat what you want and try some more high caloric stuff.

Although my skin is a bit dry and quite sensitive, I have a few enlarged pores (mainly on my nose), and I occasionally have the odd whitehead, so I was looking forward to trying this product; I lov
