im having a terrible struggle at school i just hate it and all the girls (all girls school) make me feel so stressed out and paranoid.got any tips ,i need more self confindence
Sweet123 - I feel for you - I went to an all girls' school too and had a tough time in middle school. Fortunately things did get better!
It's very hard, but try not to let negative comments etc get to you. Do you do out of school activities? This can be good for making friends out of school so that you have some people to hang out with that make you feel good about yourself.
oh gosh i went to an all girls school and we were so mean to each other. I think just be positive and be yourself !
I joined a sports group when i was in school and had my part time job which gave me some confidence.

Yvette Rose made a good point that I forgot about too - a part time job is great for giving you confidence, plus you'll make more friends there too! I loved my part time job during school!
Just be yourself and treat others as they treat you give it back to them in there face school ends eventually and the world is a rough place stand up for yourself or they will keep annoying you and dont let it worry you life is to short
Sweet123, I had similar issues when i was in school (all girls also) there's no quick fix but a part time job, out of school activities & friends that are a different group to your school ones are all great ideas, it will give you a more supportive network and space for you to find your confidence soar. Girls can be mean & bitchy at times, sometimes i wonder if it's there own way of compensating for their insecurities. Try not to let them get to you as their just being petty & remember that school is one short space of time in a whole lifetime.... There is a whole world out there ahead of you & things won't feel or be like this forever.
Dance class sounds like heaps of fun, go for it & don't look back :)
Hang in there gorgeous. I would also suggest doing some yoga (it's awesome) or pilates nad maybe going to a fun funk/aerobics class.
Also is there someone you can talk to at school? A trusted teacher? School counsellor? Just talking to someone can really help.
And what about any school lunchtime clubs...any that you'd like to join? That might help break the day up and give you things at school to look forward to.

hey guys thanks for all the support i know that lots of the stuff is in my head and that every 1 is now talking about me 24/7. today i felt so shit that i cried ugh at school now every1 knows .oh well the only way is up i just need to relax more ,going to try running xx keep the advice coming

I've cried at school when i was there, most people have at some point in time be it school, work, uni etc. Try not to let the small things bother you, just put yourself out there & do what makes you feel good. Are you still thinking about dance classes? A run is a great idea ( i often take walks to de-stress & get rid of my built up frustrations, physical activity helps me a lot) Yoga, meditation like GB suggested is also great. Dancing around the house (or in your room) is handy to lift your spirits & help take your mind off things, reading a good book, if you have a dog you could take it out with you for walks. If you can you should chat with your parents about everything thats been going on for you they might surprise you with some great advice! or chat to a school teacher/guidance counsellor, relative... someone to share how your feeling & what's going on for you can be really helpful. sweet123, I think it's great that you are thinking about a dance class. It shows that you do have confidence because you are making an effort to fix the problem instead of just accepting it. That is very mature and I am sure that you will come out of this.
Don't worry about the tears. I cry all the time, and it's healthy, I believe.
Do things for yourself, try hard at school and open your eyes and arms to the possibility of some new friends.
Good luck with the running or the dancing, exercise is great for boosting your confidence and also your mood. I find it makes things clearer too, as it gets everything moving.
You could try rescue remedy from the heath food store, if you feel like you need something to help you cope. You drink a few drops in water and it helps to calm the nerves a bit. You could just have a bottle of water with you always with some drops in there and it can be your secret friend.
