just wondering what you are hoping to pick up from this round of Beautorium?
There are so many exciting products! Glasshouse candle is high on the list, as is some of the face masks from Skin Republic. And the benefits mascara but that is a lot of points that I do not have!
i know what you mean. i spent all my points a few rounds ago and now i have nothing :( need to get back on the reviewing wagon.
What was your experience of Beautorium last time? Do you need be really quick or are there enough products to go around?
i think it depends on the products. some are amazing and go super fast. you also dont know how many of each there are. I actually waited until the end of the week for everything to be up so i only have to order once. last time there was only 1 product i wanted that was out already and i expected that so i just bought it myself later on.
its up to you which way to go. if you only want things from one category then your best of getting it when that category opens but if you want one thing from body, one from hair, one from skin and one make up then just wait till the end and get it all together.
over all it was a great experience and they always include extra little samples which is fun :D
Thanks for the info! - and good to know about the extra samples! who doesn't love getting some extra surprises. I don't have stacks of points so I might take your advice and wait until friday and see whats left and maybe I will save them for something bigger in the future!
I try very hard not to be too greedy when it is forum time! I have picked out a face mask I would like and a hand cream.
I have found it really depends on which product/s you choose as to how popular and how quickly they go.
I do try to only go for one or two things.
Thanks for creating forum deeknight, I am also interested to know which products are hot this time. So I ll avaid them and focus on others. In last two beautoriums, hot products were sold in seconds, and i was failed to get any. At the time i worked on others, they also get sold out. I have 4000 points but they are useless if I cannot get my favourite products.
THis time I am thinking of buying a hair tool instead of makeup and skincare to avoid disappointment. (Also I m not in urgent need of anything.)
4000!! thats amazing! yeah try to avoid the popular products or go for the more expensive things that are not likely that a lot of people have a huge amount of points. i only have just under 600 this time around but a few rounds ago I had over 2000 and bought the more expensive things (like benefit) that i can't usually afford to purchase.
Great advice, you are right, its better to buy expensive things like benefit, Mac or some hair tools.
4000!! thats so impressive! whats your secret?
Ha , ha Nicoler112, The secret is "I failed to get my favourite products" because they were out of stock.
Lol! We have a BH millionaire over here ;)
I think I will save my 1900 points for next time... want to save up for a good hairdryer!
Great goal! they usually have really good hair dryers and other electrical products!
I completed my first ever Beautorium order today! I ordered The Body Shop Fijian water lotus Purfume and a Lush Snow Fairy body conditioner!
I've been eyeing off the perfumes too Princess M and am surprised that they haven't all sold out. I'm hoping to pick up Jurliques rosewater mist and maybe a couple of cheaper products too.
I think I'm going to wait for the makeup to open. I have my eye on a 2 in 1 concealer! I may cave on some self tanner to get ready for summer! :)
So many great items and ideal selection to choose from it's difficult
I really, really wanted the YSL Black Opium perfume but that goes for 2500 points and I only have 1100 :(
I wanted to get other products as well which were all in seperate categories. Was hoping they'd all still be there until tomorrow but they're sold out so I guess I'll just keep building my points and hope another YSL Black Opium pops up next time fingers crossed
* Glasshouse Fragrances Amalfi Coast mini candle /sold out
* Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi Purpose Dry Oil /sold out
* Designer Brands Makeup Brush Set (maybe I might grab it tomorrow when it's up)
* Benefit Rollerlash
I never reach for the ones with fewer points (shampoos/soaps/masks) because I can just purchase them myself when they're on sale in the supermarkets lol :) xo
Oh makeupcatxo, I agree. I really wanted the Black Opium too, but I was 300 points short. Instead I got Morrocanoil, another conditioner and a body butter. All good. I considered getting a mini candle, but that was sold out. You really need to be quick. Very happy with my "purchases". Have wanted to try Morrocanoil for many years, so here is my big opportunity.
Placed my order, Mac eyeshadow palette was out of stock at 11.00 but I managed to get Benefit brow pencil and Elizabeth arden lipstick.
I missed out on the MAC palette too - lucky duck whoever got it!
there was a mac palette :O!!!
You got to be quick!! I am always so slow.
Palmolive cashmere bouquet bar soap lavender is a soap my mum always buys and uses. She gives me bars when I visit. The smell is very nice and leaves a scent on my skin.
As a regular user of lip balms, i was very keen to see how the Minenssey Lip Spa would compare to my normal go to brand.
Over all such a great concealer for it's price. It's cheap, available in most stores you hop into and multi use for a range of makeup needs. It's not full coverage.
