Anyone tried eye masks? Your thoughts on effectiveness
When in Asia recently these things are everywhere, all top brands there have a version. Has anyone tried these type of masks and what did you think of them? There are collagen versions, snail versions, gold infused versions etc. will include a picture, just a random one I found on Google to show you what I mean.

Baby Soft Skin
This product exceeded my expectations massively. The texture of the product is really nice light and no smell whatsoever.
Not worth it
I got this in a Christmas kit in the shade Lean in. I’m not sure if the problem is the shade or the gloss itself but I don’t think it’s a product to use on its own.
Super glittery and not very lasting
I got this product in the shade 872 Glit/Doré. I find that the colour looks nice on first application but as soon as you blend it it fades and you’re just left with a bunch of glitter in your eye.

I have a box of the SK-II eye masks - used only three so far and it doesn't reduce anything. They're just refreshing every now and then. Too pricey so I'm not likely to repurchase ever again.
I use the Koelf Royal Jelly eye patches. It comes in a pack of 60 (or 30 pairs). I stick mine in the fridge and use it in the morning after eating salty foods or if my eyes are particularly puffy. I think they're great. They firm up the eye area and bring a little brightness to the eyes.
So excited they arrived today. i am left with zero eye mask!
Great timing!
I have never had a facial or eye mask. I'm afraid my skin would react when trying to peel it off! I have been interested in trying them though since I keep hearing about all different ones and they look fun.
CassieLyons they are like sheet mask... they provide an incredible amount of mositure to your skin.. plus other benefits like lightening dark circles, minimise wrinkles :D
I didn't know where to post this but I've noticed some of the laser clinics offering non surgical eye lift procedures like radio frequency. Has anyone had this???? Any experiences...
Yes I have used mirenesse eye mask I loved the mask
I finished a box of Koelf Pearl eyemasks (30 pairs) and they are supposed to brighten. I honestly could not tell any difference to brightness and moisture level.
I picked up some Rodial Dragon Blood eye masks at Priceline sale. I saw the Innoxa ones and even on sale for 4 pairs I just couldn't quite justify the spend even though the reviews sound amazing I think I'd rather splurge on the new Estée Lauder ones. I've used one pair of the Rodial so far and they feel nice and cooling. The patch itself has a gel like texture and sticks well to eye area. Did reduce puffiness slightly.
I'm currently using up a box of Chanel Ultra Correction Total Eye Revitalizer. It comes with ten eye patches and a little vial of serum in roller form. You roll the serum under and above the eye a couple of times and then apply the patch. Other than a mild cooling sensation, I can't say I've seen anything happen so far, although the booklet it comes with claims at least some sort of result after a strict 10-day application, i.e. using up all 10 patches in consecutive days.
I've tried googling this product but I have found very little mention of it. If I hadn't been gifted this by my skincare maven aunt, I would not have bothered trying it. She has the tendency to send me a lot of anti-ageing products though.
I've had better results with Petitfee Black Pearl & Gold hydrogel eye patches. They used to burn me at first but I no longer have that reaction. The same thing happened to me when I used a donkey milk hydrogel sheet mask and now it does nothing but soothe so I can only conclude my skin just wasn't used to hydrogels! I used those patches on consecutive days and noticed a bit of brightening in my under eye area but I've grown to love their immediate cooling sensation.
I found these cool eye masks by wish. They contain 10% asorbic acid, honey, licorice and peptides and only cost $3.
The addition of brightening fermented licorice and mistletoe extracts visibly brighten dark circles after just one application. Pure Vitamin C works to strengthen skin.
Haven't tried this mask from Wish Formula but I have used their ampoule pads/mask - they are AMAZINGGGGGG!
I think they have a superior eye mask that is bat-shaped - I have it but haven't gotten around to it yet.
This is the Wish Formula bat-shaped eye mask. You leave it on for 20-30 mins. Also a bit of trivia: the design of this mask is registered.
Ingredients: Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Glycerin, Black Strap Powder, Butylglycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Arctium Lappa Root Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract, Hypericum Perforatum Extract, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Saponaria Officinalis Leaf/Root Extract, Saccharomyces/Honey Ferment Filtrate, Centella Asiatica Extract, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Beta-Glucan, Lactobacillus/Olive Leaf Ferment Extract, Saccharomyces/Peppermint Leaf Ferment Filtrate, Lactobacillus/Clover Flower Ferment Extract, Panthenol, Ascorbic Acid, Allantoin, Adenosine, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Chlorphenesin
tl;dr In short, it contains Vitamin C, Adenosine, Centella Asiatica, and Fermented Honey. Black strap powder and citrus extracts help to brighten dark circles about the eyes. Calendula soothes and hydrates.
Hot damn that’s a great ingredients list and I just so happen to NEED some more masks, cha-ching, take my money please
And we own duality $ again ha
I mean really the ingredients cant be beaten especially with those prices! I saw the bat mask too !
Id love to wear that mask out lol
yolo do it haha
And you'd have to post pics of you wearing them, RJ!
Where can I buy these Wish masks??
eBay and Roseroseshop, but I got mine from Yesstyle when it was on sale. Not sure where it is sold elsewhere.
I didn't know putting # before the sentence makes the entire text so big. Interesting...
Neither did I. I love it.
Oh gosh I want both these eye masks!! LOVE the ingredients in these. I want full face sheet masks of these too!
The more Korean and Japanese products I see the more I want. Please help me!!
For those of you that use eye mask's of any kind on a regular basis or just when you really need to do they really make an improvement on your eye area? I'm looking into doing this & what are your best recommendations on which one's I could possibly buy or get either in Priceline or the supermarket's? Are they any better then eye cream's?
