The Lowe down on Daisy
I heart Daisy Lowe for so many reasons.
Not only is she the uber-cool love child of singer/songwriter Pearl Lowe and Bush front man, Gavin Rossdale (making her Gwen Stefani’s stepdaughter), she’s also the face of racy lingerie label Agent Provocateur (amongst other big-name brands), a sometime singer and actress, a devoted environmentalist, and a touted trendsetter – all at the ripe old age of 21.
With fashionistas such as Alexa Chung, Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld, and Peaches Geldof on her speed dial, this British babe can hardly take a step wrong when it comes to personal style.
Right now I’m loving the Pippi-Longstocking-meets-modern-day plaits Ms Lowe sported at Mulberry’s New York Fashion Week showing. Here’s how to rock the look yourself:
1.) Split your hair into a slightly off-centre parting and separate it into two sections.
2.) Smooth each section down with Garnier Fructis Style Smoothing Milk, to minimise flyaways and give you more control of your mane.
3.) Starting from behind each ear, create two loose plaits, securing them with Lady Jayne Snagless Elastics about two inches from the ends.
4.) Give your head a gentle shake to allow some tendrils to fall around your face, and finish with a spritz of Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray.
Which celeb do you think has great personal style?
