I bought this after seeing countless positive reviews.

The product is a super soft foam, and the best part is that you can see the colour it leaves as you put it on, so you can tell where you need to apply more. It is very easy to apply, but I would recommend buying a mit to avoid orangey hands. It honestly takes no time at all to apply, and you are left with a lovely golden tan that lasts days. There is also no transfer at all onto clothes which is great.

The reason deducted one star was because of the smell. There was no scent at all when I was applying it, but as the tan set there was that typical tan smell. Even after showering I felt like my skin still had that smell.

I have very pale skin and most fake tanners just make me look like an oompa loompa - this one however comes out a true beautiful bronze. You can also layer it if you want a deeper tan.

this is so amazing, even if you're trying out self-tanning for the first time, using this product isn't scary, go for it, buy the darkest shade, get that glowy tan look. not only does this develop in 1 Hour, you can leave it on and darken it up, apply layer by layer, confidence is key and using this makes it 100x better. this has a olive based undertone, so there is none of that orange Oompa Loompa looking colour.

So I was a Bondi sands snob. That's all I would ever use. Until this one was on special and I couldn't resist the great packaging. I momentarily had a bit of a panic though after thinking I'd turn orange and let it sit in the back of my cupboard for a few weeks. Fast forward to summer and I realised I needed to get onto it. After showering and exfoliating I pulled on my mitt and dubiously pumped out the foam. First thing no strong chemical or artificial smells. Good. Application just like a normal foam self tanner mousse. Rubbed and blended into my body by the time I finished my face everything was dry. Awesome. Went to sleep and woke up showered. Now the first thing i liked about this tan is it wasn't sticky. In fact I could have probably gone to work wearing this and completely forgotten about it.
After showering I looked at everything and was very happy. No streaks. No funny patches no orange mess.
After a week I looked at it and decided the ultimate test was needed. I went straight over my tan only exfoliating my elbows. And it worked perfectly. This is the first tan I've found that doesn't fade unevenly. Doesn't give you dry skin. Doesn't leave you feeling yucky. In fact it has one up on Bondi sands in that regard. It is well priced and I think I'll be topping up this tan for a while. Very pleasantly surprised and happy

I bought this after so many great reviews on here.
My personal experience was also great!
I used a tanning applicator mitt to apply and was over the moon with the result.
It was easy to apply due to the fact it was tinted, you could easily see where you had already applied and where you had missed.
The colour was so nice and not at all orange, it looked really natural.
The smell was pleasant but you will never get away from that self tan smell.

This is pretty good actually. I've been using the Jergens tan foam which is clear on application . This Rimmel one gives instant colour and develops further over the next hour or so. Honestly it dries so quickly you need the tint to guide you where you've applied it (or not applied it as the case may be ...). It's not very forgiving and even in the medium shade I found it to be quite dark (I'm medium slight olive complexion and have been using medium in the Jergens tan mousse). Also my hands were black with tan once I'd finished (I only did my legs and I was going super fast) and it was almost impossible to get off my hands so next time I'll use gloves. I'll use it again but it's not as foolproof or forgiving as the Jergens mousse. I do prefer the colour however of the Rimmel so that's a plus.

Coming just out of winter, nothing has made me feel more like summer is on it's way than this product right here. After using it last night (in dark matte colour) I must say this is a fantastic self tanner; it goes on so smoothly and dries really quickly, leaving no sticky mess that I'm used to with other self tanners. Once developed (which takes just an hour!) I found there were no streaky bits on my skin, nor did it have that infamous orange tone to it- just a beautiful golden glow! The self tan smell is present, although quite subtle so no worries there!

This tan has replaced all others in my books. It is so convenient as it dries so quickly but that does mean you will have to apply very swiftly! The colour is gorgeous, a nice brown with no orange tones and there isn't any residue say if you sit on a white couch or sleep on white bed sheets. I applied it very very roughly to see how "streak free" it was and I was very impressed, it tends to even itself out quite well. Not to mention the pricepoint, it's so nice to have such a great product at such a good price. Thank you Rimmel!!
