Blogstar entry: summer commitments
It seems like only yesterday I was snuggled up in my black trench, planning my goals for a hot bikini body whilst awaiting the greatly anticipated wedding of Kim Kardashian. Now sitting here I realise, just like Kim, my commitments have been thrown out the window in the blink of a smoky eye.
So I will reset my goals, get back on track and now I’m insisting I will have a bikini ready body in time for my dreamy beach holiday at the end of the year.
It got me wondering, what other must have products there are I can add into my lifestyle to help make toning my post baby body an easier feat - besides the obvious healthy eating, drinking water and exercising.
The Body Shop’s Wellbeing Total Energy Pulse Point Balm has been a lifesaver for me on those days when I would much rather sit on the couch and watch reruns of Jersey Shore. It gives you the kick start you need if it’s in the morning or after work. Just add a small amount to your temples, wrists or neck around your pulse points. The citrusy scent alone is invigorating and motivating in itself.
Sleep is very important when you are hitting the gym on a regular basis and Nature’s Own Sleep Ezy is a godsend to help get the much needed 8 hours of beauty sleep. Simply take before bed to be relaxed by natural ingredients and benefit from uninterrupted sleep- if you have no kids that is!
We all deserve a treat after a hard workout – and no, I’m not talking about the chocolate variety- a relaxing massage will hit the spot without adding on all those calories we burnt at the gym. Dermalogica’s Stress Relief Treatment Oil is the perfect wind down treat. If you’re lucky enough to have help at hand then that’s a bonus, otherwise its easy enough to DIY without ending up a slippery mess.
I hope you’re more committed than Kim or myself, what do you find you can’t commit to?
