Making the most of your detox

Detoxing is a great way to get yourself back onto the path of healthy living, but starting can be difficult. If you’re a hardened junk food addict, rather than going cold turkey – try preparing a couple of weeks before your detox by slowly cutting back. This will be easier if you try healthier but equally tasty alternatives.
Think swap not stop: Fresh raspberries are equally as sweet as regular lollies and unsalted nuts are a yummy alternative to potato chips.

Swap not stop is a great slogan.
mmmmm... Strawberries were on sale and I bought a lot and probably ate too much.

I fully agree with this motion, I often think about swapping throughout the day.

Swap not stop! I love this :) I find the more I deny myself something the more I'm going to want it.

I swap not stop too, as it doesn't feel like you are missing out (and I hate being hungry)!

I need to detox. Swapping is a great idea- not too good with cutting sugar but I guess I can make a conscious effort to cut out certain sugars. :)

Those are great ideas to make the detox easier. So much detoxification happens via your skin and breath - the main 'exits' for toxins. Learning to breathe right really helps to detox and there are special yoga breathing techniques specifically designed to help you detox. Nik x http://www.facebook.com/adoreyogamosman

Berries and nuts are delicious. It's not so hard to cut down on unhealthy things if you have a clear reason/goal in mind to spur you on.

I recently decided to cut down on my coffee intake, and went from 4-5 cups daily, to just one in the morning, before I completely cut it out. I have not had a cup of coffee for a month now, and I do miss it, although Im very happy im no longer so dependant on it.
