Max's master plan

I have died and gone to chocolate heaven. Max Brenner has released a choccy body collection and it’s divine.
Arguably the world’s greatest chocolatier (I’m a sucker for his American Marshmallow Chocolate), is now offering the same sickly sweet goodness as resides in his warming chocolate fancies in his BODY Spa Collection.
Talking about the range, Brenner says, “In my new Spa Collection, I have been able to surpass the borders of taste to create products that will embrace the benefits of raw ingredients.” The Ivory Coast’s premium cocoa butter is at the heart of the BODY range as it’s believed to relieve stress and boost the immune system, not to mention it has a deliciously smooth texture that will leave skin smelling yummy all day long.
Sold individually or in packs along with famous Max Brenner sweet treats, I’ve selected my favourite bits from the range to chat about but I implore you to go check out the range for yourself – you won’t be disappointed.
Max Brenner BODY 100% Pure Cocoa Body Butter enriched with Pure Ivory Coast Cocoa Butter – when a body butter contains cocoa butter, shea butter, sweet almond oil and wildflower honey essence you just know it’s going to be good but I was amazed at just how good this rich body butter is. It melts into your skin and the delicious wafts of bourbon vanilla aroma are to die for.
Max Brenner BODY Madagascar Vanilla Hand Moisturiser enriched with Pure Ivory Coast Cocoa Butter – this contains peach kernel oil to nourish and protect paws against dehydration. It also promotes elasticity, while the evening primrose oil features vital fatty acids that improve the skin’s overall function.
Max Brenner BODY Brazilian Brown Sugarcane & Cocoa Nibs Body Scrub enriched with Pure Ivory Coast Cocoa Butter – you’ll forgive the ridiculously long name the moment this comes into contact with your skin. The brown sugar works as a master peeling agent, leaving skin positively glowing. This is Brenner’s favourite product and was a big hit with all the beauty eds at the launch.
For your chance to win a surprise beauty pack, tell us what your favourite sweet treat is and why…

Pity that these products don't seem to be around anymore. If it wasn't for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory existing, the bald man may not have come alive with his amazing chocolate creations...

Happy to eat my chocolate rather than have it in any form of body cream etc.

Sounds to good to put on your skin - I'd want to eat it!!! I have been using some Laura Mercier chocolate products like this (that I got as a gift with my mineral foundation) and I have to admit, they feel like the ultimate indulgence.

I don't like Max Brenner chocolates (too tasteless) but I love the smell coming from their shops. If their spa collection smells anything like that it will find a place in my apothecary. The downside, of course, is I'll forever be craving chocolates if I smell like that. Hmmmmm .....

I am a complete chocoholic too. My absolute favourite is Green & Blacks organic Dark Chocolate Maya with spices. Even better it's good for me, and the environment.

My favorite sweet treat has got to be Lindt Orange Intense. A little of this smooooooth chocolate satisfies the darkest carvings!! Failing that, a quick application of Palmer's Cocoa Butter also does the trick.

My favourite?! How on earth do I pick a favourite?!
Baklava is definitely up there though. And friands. And dark chocolate truffles. And toasted marshmallows. And fresh lamingtons, and bread and butter pudding and...
See my problem?

I absolutely can't go past my mum's caramel slice. A layer of chewy chocolate biscuit base, a layer of oozing sweet caramel and a layer of dark chocolate . . . mmmmmm . . . caramel slice . . .

my favourite sweet treat is a charlie brown. That is, a banana smoothie with crunchie peanut butter and rich, thick homemade chocolate sauce. The biggest problem is making sure that I don't just eat the chocolate sauce straight out of the saucepan!!

I started to salivate the moment I looked at this picture! MUST HAVE EXPENSIVE CHOCOLATE NOW! And how pretty does that chocolate morsel look? ALMOST too good to eat - but not really!

My fave sweet treat has to be hot chocolate with marshmallows that I then dip my timtams into - probably awful for my teeth but nothing is better when coming in from the wet, cold night after work to warm up and relax!
And Max must know women well, how great to make a range that we don't HAVE to eat (although some of us probably will, ok, I will...)!

mmmh...those products sound so yummy that you could eat them. I love food smelling products (but then again I just love food in general). But Max Brenner's sound like these are products that are a must try. Do you know if you can purchase them in Western Australia anywhere in particular?
