Shea Butter Body Lotion Reviews

The shea butter body lotion comes in a 250ml pump dispenser with the lotion itself being a runny white liquid. I was actually quite surprised with how watery the lotion was. At first glance it did not look that hydrating and when I put it on I found that it wasn't very moisturising compared to the other L'occitane products that I tried.

Obviously I know that lotions aren't as hydrating as creams but I did not think it would be this liquidy. I applied it all over my body including my hands and while it did absorb quite easily and left my skin soft, it didn't work as well as I had hoped.

For the very dry areas of my body like my legs and hands, it just wasn't up to par. After about an hour I felt like I had to put on more lotion as my body started to feel dry.

I think this would be more suitable for me during the summertime as it was lightweight, absorbed well and didn't leave any greasiness. During the winter I need something a lot thicker to help get combat the dry patches on my legs and hands.

This is my all time favourite body Lotion. It is a little pricey for every day use but I feel special when I use it. It is light, silky and moisturises beautifully. I love the light scent and the way it absorbs quick without leaving any heavy oily feel. I have given this lotion as a gift to my mum and girlfriends and they loved it. A Lotion for any time of year and any age group.

I adore this product. Shea butter is super moisturising and absorbs really well and the bonus is it smells divine. It is a little expensive but I feel spoilt using it and always ask for it at Christmas and Birthdays.

Time and time again I go back to this product. Its so rich and creamy and the scent is divine. I have dry flakey skin and this perfectly hydrates without any greasiness or residue. Love, love, love it!

Being so infatuated with their handcream, I also went and got this body lotion. It is a thick lotion which smells exactly like the rest of the shea range. It is very easy to smooth on, but be careful to use only a small amount as otherwise it can take a bit longer to absorb. My skin immediately feels moisturised and is beautifully scented for many hours.

This is one of my favourite from L'Occitane, wonderful body lotion. Glides on easily, leaving skin feeling silky smooth. Your skin is left with a hint of a shine from the Shea.

Really nice body lotion - absorbs well and is very moisturising with a nice delicate fragrance.

I tried this lovely moisturiser in a generous 35ml bottle when I stayed at the Sofitel Hotel in Melbourne. It has a very pleasant smell, absorbs well into the skin and is very hydrating. My skin was kept silky smooth all day!!
